MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASS
The Middle School Class is made up of 6th - 8th graders. Our focus is the "Wild Truth Bible Lessons." Each lesson takes outr students on an adventure back to a bible story to explore an ancient "experiment in faith" (stories in scripture). What did these old faithsearches discover about God and his truth? How did they apply the truth? What was the result? It is not enough for our students to know the truth, they must dare to live the truth. Come join us on this exciting adventure each Sunday at 9:30!
HIGH SCHOOL CLASS
The Salem UMC High School Sunday School Class offers various instructional methods (bible study, video, role play, etc.) for our high school students in learning about the Bible and relating lessons/readings to their everyday needs to help them grow closer to Christ. The goal for this class is for our high school students to build positive relationships with each other, provide service for our community and church, and learn to be a disciple for Christ. Our students and teachers have fun with the fellowship and instruction that takes place in class, not to mention the delicious biscuits!
ALPHA UMYF
Alpha UMYF includes all middle school youth grades 6th – 8th and meets on Sunday afternoons from 5:00- 6:30. This group enjoys a snack supper and has recently participated in a new DVD based curriculum that is interactive and relates to the issues our kids deal with today. You can also catch this group participating in various service projects within the community. At Christmas time, Alpha hosts a live Nativity scene for all of Ballentine/White Rock and Irmo area to enjoy!!!
OMEGA UMYF
Omega UMYF is available for all High School students and meets Sundays from 5:00-6:30 in the Omega House. Omega focuses on the various challenges that our youth of today deal with. Springmaid and snow skiing in NC are among the favorite activities for this group.
